WHAT'S GROWING ALBERT-EDEN?
What's Growing Albert-Eden is a neighbourhood arts project generously supported by the Albert-Eden local board. A little while ago I was given a large bottle gourd by a recent immigrant who was growing this vegetable in a tiny patch at the back of her flat. This led me to wonder what else are people growing in our neighbourhoods? I have spent the last year researching and photographing this. Below are images and lists of produce that I have found so far. I will be updating these as I find new and different varieties of produce that is being grown. .
